Plot of ‘Carjackers’
The film follows Nora (Zoé Marchal), a valet driver, and her colleagues Zoé (Bosh), Steve (Chilla), and Prestance, who together form the ‘Carjackers’ team. By day, they serve wealthy clients in luxurious establishments; by night, they target and rob those whose malicious actions they are aware of. Their operations take a perilous turn when they become entangled with Elias (Franck Gastambide), a ruthless hitman, leading to a high-stakes game of cat and mouse.

The cast of Carjackers is led by Zoé Marchal, known for her roles in ‘Disorder and Skam France’, portraying Nora, a skilled valet driver leading a secret double life as a carjacker. Zoé Marchal has also starred in notable projects such as the television series ‘The Disappearance (2015)’, where she portrayed Chris Morel, and the crime drama series ‘Section Zéro (2016)’, playing Rose Eden Yagobowski. In 2022, she appeared as Lucie Di Marco in the action thriller ‘Overdose’, directed by Olivier Marchal.
Alongside her is Franck Gastambide, a renowned French filmmaker and actor famous for directing and starring in the ‘Taxi 5 reboot’ and the hit action series ‘Validé’. Gastambide plays Alias, a dangerous hitman who threatens the crew’s survival. Other cast include Bosh, Chilla, Alassane Diong, Disiz, Hafid F. Benamar, and Mylène Jampanoï.
Carjackers is directed by Kamel Guemra, a French filmmaker known for his work on action thrillers such as ‘Lost Bullet’ (2020) and the television series ‘Blood Coast’ (2023). Guemra also co-wrote the screenplay alongside Morade Aissaoui and Sledge Bidounga, both of whom have collaborated with him on previous projects. The film is produced by Gaumont, Umedia, and Amazon Studios, with Gaumont being one of the oldest film companies in the world, renowned for producing numerous French classics.
